A 94-year-old woman fell. Police said the fall was accidental. The woman was bleeding, was alert and responding appropriately. No emergency medical care was needed.
June 14, 2:35 p.m.
A man at Mountain View Care Center was caught by staff going in and out of women’s rooms at the facility. The man was seen touching the women and using sexually explicit language. The police department is investigating to see if any crime was committed behind closed doors, but no complaint has yet to be filed.
June 14, 11:49 p.m.
A woman was caught driving 75 mph in a 45 mph zone. She admitted to speeding and not having insurance for her newly purchased car.
June 15, 8:32 P.M.
A woman said a man took her car keys and locked her out of the house. The woman stated there was between five and 10 guns in the house. The man let the officers into the house and was not violent. However some objects in the house were broken by the man.
June 16, 5:39 p.m.
A man was seen drinking and had a gun with an open carry license. The man was not violent and left the area peacefully.
June 18, 4:40 p.m.
A 73-year-old man called the police after he began choking on a candy. When police arrived, he was completely alert, but he was not breathing normally. The candy was removed, and the man began to breathe better.
June 18, 5:57 p.m.
An employee of Red Mountain Realty said she arrived at a company residence to check on the property, but the recently evicted tenants destroyed it. The employee spotted two other people who were supposedly waiting on a ride from the former tenants. The police were advised of the eviction and kept the peace once served.
June 19, 5:59 p.m.
Two boys, ages 14 and 15, were caught fighting by the BMX track. The fight was broken up by police, and both boys were sent home.
June 19, 6:59 p.m.
A man with a red hat and long beard at Southwest Diner was seen taking $20 that an employee of the restaurant had laid down. The man picked up the money and walked out of the business. The man was caught, and the money was returned to the employee.
June 20, 11:16 a.m.
A semitruck was seen blocking a street lane because it ran out of fuel. Officers called Big John’s Towing to ask about the cost of transporting diesel to the truck. The truck driver met the Big John’s driver and paid him $70 for the fuel.
