Officers received multiple calls reporting a man behaving erratically in the desert, swinging his jacket around and rolling in the dirt.

March 15, 11:01 a.m.

A caller reported the theft of electricity from a unit in a mobile home park, reporting that a resident had accessed the power by connecting two metal sticks.

March 15, 11:52 a.m.

Officers received a call about a possible counterfeit $100 bill being passed by two females in a Ford Explorer; the bill passed the pen test, but “lacked fibers and looked odd.”

March 15, 12:28 p.m.

A citizen flagged down an officer to report a van and trailer that had been abandoned in a parking lot for over a week and smelled suspiciously of decomposing flesh; upon checking, the van was unoccupied.

March 15, 4:57 p.m.

A man was reported stumbling near the hospital, nearly falling into traffic. The man had been released from the hospital’s care, but left the premises before the drugs he had been given wore off.

A foster home parent called to report a child who didn’t want to go to school; the child then decided it was best not to ditch class.

Officers received a call concerning two men camping near the old airport hangar, one with a pit bull and the other snapping a whip.

Officers received multiple calls regarding a flatbed truck hauling tires and a trailer that was on fire.

Police officers, the fire department and an ambulance were dispatched to subdue a 63-year-old female who was acting violent and physically abusing employees.

A man called to report that three suspicious people had come to his door trying to sell vacuum cleaners out of their old van.

Officers were called about a man walking around after running a tractor-trailer off the road; the man said he fell asleep at the wheel.

March 18, 4:20 a.m.

A man called to report that he had been robbed again by a man in a purple mask who got away with $10 in cash, cigarettes and possibly some alcohol.

March 18, 10:22 a.m.

A man called to report that the prostitute who he had moved into his home two months ago had now stolen his computer. The next day he turned the prostitute’s dog over to the animal shelter.

March 20, 1:23 a.m.

A man called to report that his friend had called in need of help after waking up naked in the desert with no recollection of where he was or how he got there.

March 20, 9:13 a.m.

Officers received a call complaining about a suspicious bottle of pills found with an abandoned stroller and a diaper bag wrapped in an American flag.

March 21, 4:33 p.m.

A man called to complain that someone had burglarized his unlocked car during the night, stealing $30 in change and a GPS unit.

March 22, 1:28 p.m.

Officers received a call reporting a man had cut the water, pipes and the electric cord to a unit in a mobile home park. After being confronted the man challenged the victim to call the cops.
