Officers were called when a man claimed four or five people were in his house and he didn’t know them or know why they were there. The man called 911 saying it had happened before and that the people in his house refuse to identify themselves. Police arrived and found no one in his home, and the man, who admitted to drinking, taking medication and “doing a little bit of speed,” was barricaded in his room.
Nov. 27, 2015, 7:31 p.m.
A man called police after he kicked his sister and her son out of his home. The man said his sister stole their mom’s bank card and emptied her account. He also said he got in a physical altercation with his sister’s 26-year old son.
Nov. 28, 2015, 12:40 p.m.
A gas pipe was hit during routine construction. Southwest Gas was called out as well as an electrical unit because the pipe break was next to an electrical box. The gas company arrived 24 minutes later and had two crews in the manhole to turn the gas off.
Nov. 29, 2015, 2:18 a.m.
A man said his 17-year old son went missing. The father states his son was last seen at 2 p.m. wearing shorts and a black hoodie at his grandparents’ house. The juvenile hadn’t been seen since and has no cellphone. The son returned home around 7 p.m.
Nov. 29, 2015, 3:50 p.m.
A woman was called by a subject saying he was Lt. Terrell from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. He told the woman she had missed a court date and owed money. The woman said the man told her to stay on the phone with him while she drove downtown to bring him money. A detective spoke with the woman by phone and told her this was a scam. Police did an Internet search and found a similar scam had occurred in another state.
Nov. 30, 2015, 2:10 a.m.
A car was inoperable after hitting a coyote. The vehicle suffered a cracked radiator and needed to be towed.
Nov. 30, 2015, 4:17 p.m.
Police learned of potential criminal activity when a person came to the police station to inform them about someone at the bowling alley. The bowler in question had six warrants out of Las Vegas, including felonies for fraud and taking money under false pretence. The bowler’s husband was sitting at home afraid she may come back and kill him. The woman in question may be using an alias and has reportedly lost 60 pounds and dyed her hair sandy blonde.
