A man called police about suspicious activity at his condo in Boulder City. The owner states his friend was staying at the condo, but when he arrived to visit, there was a hose running from a car exhaust out front up to his window inside the condo. Officers cleared the house and found nobody home. The man asked officers to trace his friend for fear he may have hurt himself.
Nov. 4, 2015, 11:56 a.m.
A man was found dead on his bed when officers arrived. Police said there was possible blunt force trauma to the head. No further details were in the police report.
Nov. 5, 2015, 2:58 p.m.
Officers were called when an elderly woman’s caretaker said the woman had been robbed. According to the caretaker, the elderly woman gave a man a $240 check to wash her windows. When the man didn’t arrive, the woman asked for her check back, but the man had fled. The woman placed a stop on her check, but it had already been cashed. Police have the man’s information.
Nov. 6, 2015, 4:21 a.m.
Police were called when a man was found in his boxer shorts yelling for help. When officers arrived, the man said his wife had left him there. A welfare check was requested on the wife, who said her husband left the previous night and called her stating he was lost.
Nov. 6, 2015, 2:30 p.m.
A person called police when he saw his neighbor’s house being broken into. The neighbor said the three males kicked in the front door, and fled after robbing the house while the neighbor was on the phone with police. The neighbor stated the males took off toward Nevada Way. An undercover officer followed the vehicle and stopped them in a Marshall’s Plaza, where all three were detained.
Nov. 7, 2015, 11:50 a.m.
A car chase that began northbound from Searchlight and ended near Hoover Dam. Police said the car was stolen from Florida and had a Lake Havasu license plate on the back. The fleeing car got up to speeds of 105 miles per hour, according to the report. Officers terminated pursuit near the Arizona border where Kingman, Ariz., police took over.
Nov. 8, 2015, 10:16 a.m.
A man claimed his drunk girlfriend tried to slit his throat. When officers arrived, the man refused to press charges while the girlfriend had left to an unknown destination. The man was advised to call the police department if she returned.
Nov. 9, 2015, 10:35 p.m.
A woman called police worrying about the health of her two daughters who were with their father. The mother said the girls were sick and that the father would bring them by the doctor if he had time. She told police her ex-husband wasn’t picking up his phone when she called after that. Police reached out to the man, who said his ex-wife has a history of doing this. He said she’s “‘insane” and has called police for these “ruses” before in Las Vegas and Henderson. Police advised the man to take his matter to family court to bring her issues to light.
