A coyote was reported walking on Mount Blackburn Lane toward Marina Drive.

Sept. 8, 3:32 p.m.

Officers received a report about grapefruit-sized chunks of cement on the roadway on U.S. Highway 93 at Industrial Road.

Sept. 9, 1:53 p.m.

Officers received a report about two residents of the Nevada State Veterans Home getting into an altercation. One of the residents apparently pushed the other. Officials have served the resident who pushed the other with an eviction notice.

Sept. 9, 4:52 p.m.

A man called to report that his car was stolen in California, but it was now in Boulder City. The caller then reported the other party did not give him the vehicle’s title and the car was picked up by a third party who was going to get an estimate on the vehicle and now won’t return either. The caller was advised to contact law enforcement officials in California. He then became upset and said he was in Florida. The man called back and stated the incident started in Boulder City. He gave an address and told officers that the car was there. Officers then advised the man that a car cannot be reported stolen if its location is known.

Sept. 9, 10:43 p.m.

Officers received a call from a woman who said a man is harassing her while she is trying to walk home. The man apparently keeps trying to get her to walk over to him.

Sept. 10, 5:08 a.m.

A caller reported seeing a white Nissan truck with Nevada license plates driving all over the road, weaving in and out of lanes.

Sept. 10, 7:03 a.m.

A person called police to report a 9- or 10-year-old boy asking strangers for a ride to school because he had a headache.

Sept. 10, 4:42 p.m.

A woman called about an incident that occurred in the morning as she was walking her kids to school. A man yelled at her and made her child cry as they walked on the street, not realizing the entire street was private property.

Sept. 11, 4:23 a.m.

A woman called to report that she left her residence after her boyfriend, who is now at her mother’s house, hit her in the chin with his cane. She said she threw the cane out the door and took his cellphone because she didn’t want him to call and bother her.

Sept. 11, 9:22 a.m.

A woman called officers because her ex “pocket-dialed” her and could be heard yelling that he was locked out of his home. The caller was worried that their 4-year-old child, who was visiting with the father, might be in danger.

Sept. 11, 4:29 p.m.

Officers received a report of a new black Camaro driving more than 100 mph heading south on U.S. Highway 95 toward Laughlin.

Sept. 11, 7:37 p.m.

A store manager called about a man sitting on a bench outside the store, leaning over and mumbling. He was acting strange and had a backpack containing a pellet gun.

Sept. 12, 10:22 a.m.

A four-door vehicle is reportedly parked on Adams Boulevard and is blocking traffic. Vehicles are having to swerve to avoid a collision.

Sept. 12, 12:47 p.m.

Officers received a report about counterfeit $10 and $20 bills.

Sept. 12, 9:20 p.m.

Officers receive a report about a person on a bike shining a flashlight into passing cars.

Sept. 12, 10:05 p.m.

A woman called to report that she found a very large rattlesnake on her back patio. It was coiled and starting to move, so she killed the snake.

Sept. 13, 4:03 p.m.

A woman reported that her lime green Mongoose bicycle with a green basket had been stolen. The bike is worth $200.

Sept. 14, 10:34 a.m.

Officers received a report about a man with a gun in the roadway.

Sept. 14, 1:44 p.m.

A man is in the police department’s lobby to report receiving a notice in the mail about someone applying for credit in his name. The letter he received said the company could not give him credit because of his poor credit history; however, if he supplied important information to them, they could release the credit history to him.
