Police received a call about a man who was riding his bicycle and darting out into traffic across U.S. Highway 93.

A woman called police about finding a rattlesnake in her garage the night before, but she could no longer find the snake. She said she was concerned the snake was still hiding in her garage.

Police received a call about buckets of grease being thrown into a resident’s pool.

A man called police to complain about graffiti at the Sands Motel. The man said he found a can of spray paint in the bushes on the Sands’ property.

July 4, 9:53 a.m.

Police received a call about a blue Honda Civic that was driving at high rates of speed. The driver of the car was said to be cutting off other vehicles and running them off the road, according to police.

July 4, 2:57 p.m.

A woman called police because she said bugs were crawling all over her and that she was choking on them.

A person was booked on charges of driving under the influence after almost hitting a pedestrian, police said.

A woman called police because she said someone broke off the side mirror of her friend’s car and threw it into her yard.
