A dead dog was found at the entrance of an apartment complex. The dog appeared to have been run over.

A woman said someone rang her doorbell about 9:15 the night before when she was sleeping. When she answered the door, a man said he was from Dish Network and wanted to come in and show her his “plans.” The woman reminded the man what time it was and said she didn’t believe a company would approve of such activity late at night.

March 27, 6:24 p.m.

A person requested extra patrol for a white car that constantly speeds up and down Shenandoah Street about noon and 6 p.m. The caller said the person drives the wrong way around the median on Slate Mountain Drive constantly. The caller thinks the person is a drug dealer.

March 28, 8:01 a.m.

A man called saying his dog had been shot. The dog is a Labrador mixed with pug.

A man flagged down an officer after he was hit in the eye at Albertsons. The man told police he didn’t want to press charges because he didn’t want to ruin a 20-year friendship.

March 28, 7:27 p.m.

A man requested help from the police after his girlfriend slammed his arm in a door when the two were fighting.

March 29, 11:01 a.m.

A woman came home and found her front door kicked in. The woman said her driver’s license and Social Security card were missing, as well as a leftover pizza. She suspected her ex-boyfriend was responsible.

A man refused to leave a baseball game after being ejected by the umpire.

Someone found a bag full of prescription drugs in a dumpster.

A man with several star tattoos on his face told people at a bar he had C-4 (plastic explosive) in his backpack.
