Someone contacted police to report that there was a cat on the balcony that needed to be removed.

Feb. 11, 3:52 p.m.

A woman requested police speak with her 8-year-old son about his behavior problems. Police spoke to the boy, who was upset because his mother would not buy him a laser pointer.

Feb. 11, 5:09 p.m.

A woman reported that a man was trying to enter her house. She said she hit the door and scared him away.

Feb. 12, 8:54 a.m.

A man contacted police to report that another man slammed his car door into his car, and also spit and cursed at him.

Feb. 12, 9:09 a.m.

Police received a report of a homeless-looking man with long hair and a shopping cart, sitting behind a residence yelling at no one and cursing at cars. The caller was concerned for his mother’s safety.

Feb. 12, 8:44 p.m.

A man called police to report that his wife punched him in the nose, and he was hiding in a trailer in front of their house to get away from her.

Feb. 13, 6:06 p.m.

Police received a report of gas siphoned from two commercial construction vehicles.

A woman reported her tire being stabbed.

Police received a report of a young woman looking in an elderly couple’s window, and running away after being spotted.

A woman called police because she thought her daughter was on drugs and had stolen goods in the house.

Feb. 15, 9:38 p.m.

Police advised three groups with bonfires at the dry lake bed to leave the area, as well as a group intending to light a bonfire.

Police received a report of two females yelling about killing each other and killing a dog.

Feb. 16, 10:05 p.m.

Police received a report of a young male on Avenue I checking the door handles of parked cars. Police located the man and he had no stolen items on him.

Feb. 17, 11:12 a.m.

Police received a report of a 14-year-old girl not returning home from a sleepover.
