Jan. 17, 6:21 p.m.

The assistant manager of a store reported that she was in the office and had received a phone call from a man who said he was in the store’s parking lot in a black car and had a fully loaded machine gun.

Jan. 18, 3:59 a.m.

An alarm inside a hangar at the Boulder City Municipal Airport was going off. Several employees were on site. The owner of the hangar was contacted and said it was a faulty alarm that has been scheduled for service.

Jan. 18, 12:42 p.m.

A caller reported that a small trailer was turned over on its side and was blocking traffic. The driver said he was not used to pulling a trailer and it went over a curbed median and tipped over. There was no damage; the trailer and vehicle were removed from the roadway.

Jan. 18, 4:15 p.m.

A woman reported she found a note on her car that says “I will find you and I will kill you.”

Jan. 19, 8:56 a.m.

A man reported that two guns have been stolen from his home.

Jan. 19, 2:02 p.m.

Sheep were reported too close to the highway.

Jan. 20, 10:44 a.m.

A caller reported finding some syringes and a Mason jar full of some type of strange liquid in a house where tenant had been evicted the day before. The needles were collected for appropriate disposal.

Jan. 20, 11:53 a.m.

Someone reported seeing a man riding a red motorcycle with an infant between his legs on the front of the bike near the duck pond at Veterans’ Memorial Park.

Jan. 20, 9:31 p.m.

Police received a report of several juveniles making a lot of noise. When contacted by police, the kids said they were playing hide and seek.

Jan. 21, 2:59 a.m.

Someone reported seeing a man walking to a camper with a car behind it that was parked in a lot. The employee at the location said the older man appeared to have walked from the maintenance area to the driver’s door of the recreational vehicle but the man did not match the description of the owner he was given. The suspect was gone when officers arrived.

Jan. 21, 5:26 p.m.

Officers received a report of a suspicious blue and white van parked in front of a restaurant with the running lights on that was occupied by at least one person. The caller was concerned because there had been several burglaries in the area recently. The driver of the van said they had stopped in that location because of the shade, were tired from traveling and were sleeping on their way to a Baptist church in Boulder City.

Jan. 22, 9:59 a.m.

Someone called to report a suspicious person reaching into the windows of parked cars. The suspect was wearing a black beanie and a green poncho. The man said it was his vehicle and he was reaching into it because his friend locked the door and he was petting the dog.

Jan. 22, 11:43 a.m.

A driver for Meals on Wheels reported smelling smoke from either inside the house or out back. Officers did not smell anything burning and everything seemed to be OK.

Jan. 22, 4:46 p.m.

The owner of a vacant house for sale called to report that several teens had held a party at the house and had heard that another was planned. The house has been on the market for six months. There were no signs of forced entry and the homeowner said it had been left unlocked in the past after it was shown to a prospective buyer. Upon contacting the suspected party organizers, they said that one of them had stolen the garage door opener to gain access.

Jan. 23, 10:15 a.m.

A caller reported seeing a man with a beard in a wheelchair on Boulder City Parkway near Buchanan Boulevard with a shopping cart full of clothes that he was throwing into the street. Upon arrival officers only discovered a pile of trash.
