April 18, 12:58 a.m.

A caller reported that two people had “pitched” a tent near the storage area of the Red Mountain RV Park. Upon arrival, the officer determined they were from Israel and Russia and were unaware they could not camp there. The officer gave them directions to Lake Mead.

April 18, 5:34 a.m.

Officers received reports that some bathroom toilets were backed up, and there was no water to the sinks or toilets.

April 18, 10:40 a.m.

Officers received a report of a pedestrian walking along the highway. Upon arrival, she told them that she didn’t want to walk on the trail because she was afraid of snakes.

April 18, 4:02 p.m.

A caller reported an unregistered motor home was parked in front of her residence for a couple of days. She thought someone was living in it.

April 19, 10:35 a.m.

A caller reported that she saw a 3-year-old playing with weed killer in a front yard.

April 19, 5:01 p.m.

Officers received a report of illegal shooting at a firing range. The two subjects gained access to it with keys from a Nevada Department of Transportation employee. Upon contact, an NDOT supervisor said he would follow up with the administration about the misuse of keys. Both subjects received warnings for trespassing.

April 20, 6:02 a.m.

A man reported someone had damaged his garage door with a vehicle or trailer during the night. He wasn’t sure who it was but was requesting a report for insurance purposes.

April 20, 8:17 a.m.

Officers attempted to locate a silver or white pickup that was doing donuts in the skateboard area and then left the park.

April 21, 5:24 p.m.

Officers received a report of a truck on fire. An engine from Henderson Fire Department was en route with extra water.

April 21, 5:38 p.m.

Northbound traffic was shut down, as the cab of the semitruck was completely engulfed in flames. Traffic was rerouted onto Veterans Memorial Drive and U.S. Highway 93.

April 21, 8:33 p.m.

An employee reported that a woman was intoxicated and tried to start a fight with her inside the bar. The woman was detained but slipped out of her handcuffs. She was then detained in the officer’s car with a new set of handcuffs.

April 22, 12:59 a.m.

A caller reported that someone was bouncing a ball in the park and woke her up.

April 23, 10:50 p.m.

A mother called to report naked pictures of her daughter were on the internet, and she wanted to speak to an officer.

April 24, 12:48 p.m.

Officers received a report of a dog inside a silver Toyota Tacoma with the windows rolled up.

April 24, 9:31 p.m.

A possibly intoxicated man told officers he was wanted and would like to speak to an officer. He was wearing a baseball hat, green shirt and tan pants.
