Oct. 4, 10:58 a.m.

A woman called police about the remains of a bonfire in the desert near her house. Empty liquor bottles were found in the area, and the caller said she has heard teenagers in the area at night.

Oct. 4, 2:46 p.m.

A woman called police about her nephew’s friend making a threatening gesture toward her. The friend made a gun gesture with his hand toward her.

Oct. 4, 2:52 p.m.

A Boulder City Landfill employee called police about a suspicious man and woman with backpacks. The two people were just hiking and had gotten lost. Police informed the couple that they should not hang out around the landfill.

Oct. 4, 5:18 p.m.

A teenager notified her parents that she found a piece of tin foil with a possible illegal substance in it. Police burned the tin foil and disposed of it.

Oct. 4, 5:25 p.m.

A man called police saying that there might be a drug deal going on near him. Police arrived on scene and found out that a man and a woman had two warrants out for their arrest, and the vehicle they were in was stolen. They were detained, and Metropolitan Police Department in Las Vegas was contacted about the warrants.

Oct. 5, 2:05 p.m.

A man called police saying that two people had put their stuff in the backyard of a vacant house the man owned. The two people said they were hanging out by the park. Later the officer who took the call noticed they had been at the park all day and reminded the couple of the park hours.

Oct. 5, 7:53 p.m.

A caller notified police that four men in clown masks were walking down Nevada Way.

Oct. 6, 9:18 p.m.

A caller said he saw a coyote in the middle of the highway bleeding and with an injured leg. When police arrived the animal was lying on the train tracks.

Oct. 7, 6:05 p.m.

Police were called about a person throwing rocks at the Creative Hair and Nails salon. The man was given a citation for disorderly conduct.

Oct. 10, 4:35 p.m.

Representatives from Pepsi Co. called police about a meeting with a person from Craigslist who was selling Pepsi vending machines illegally. The representative said police would be contacted if needed.

Oct. 10, 7:53 p.m.

Police were called about a man and woman yelling and throwing things at each other as they walked in and out of their house. The female was screaming for help. When the police arrived, the man had left.
