A Boulder City man was arrested and charged with several counts of sexual assault of a child under the age of 14, according to Boulder City Police.
Clifford Curran III, 38, faces 10 counts of lewdness with a child under the age of 14, three counts of sexual assault of a child under the age of 14, three counts of open and gross lewdness, and three counts of indecent exposure, according to the district attorney’s office.
The abuse occurred between June 2006 and July 2014 in Henderson and Boulder City and involved three children, the district attorney’s office said.
Curran was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on May 27. He is being held on $475,000 bail.
His preliminary hearing will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Boulder City Justice Court.
Curran’s wife, Bernice Smith, faces one count of child abuse, the district attorney’s office said. Her preliminary hearing also will be Tuesday.
