Local business owners invited to meet Boulder City Review’s staff

Local business owners are invited to an ice cream social from 4-6 p.m. today at the Boulder City Review office, 508 Nevada Way, suite 1.

The event is designed to introduce business owners to advertising and editorial staff members of the newspaper, as well as offer advice on digital and print advertising opportunities and how to get news into the paper.

“We want to offer the local business owners print and digital advertising solutions with affordable rates to better meet their advertising needs and budgets,” said Deidre Dyer, inside division sales manager.

During the ice cream social, Dyer will introduce the Boulder City Review’s new discounted advertising rates and provide details about new advertising products.

Other representatives from the advertising staff expected to attend are Elizabeth Martinez, a digital specialist who will discuss online/digital products and campaigns; Karen Wheaton-Thomas and Sharaine Deakman, retail account executives who will showcase display advertising options; and Lindsay Dague, a classified representative who will focus on classified advertising.

Editor Hali Bernstein Saylor and reporter Steven Slivka will offer information about getting news into the paper and answer questions.

“We have been working diligently to put our focus on news and events happening in Boulder City and continue to seek out ways to become an integral part of the community,” Bernstein Saylor said.

The Hacienda and Boulder City Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring the event.
