Gift to the community

Continuing a 57-year-old family tradition started by his father in New York, Rich Angora has set up a Nativity scene, complete with twinkling stars, running water, glowing fires and holiday music, just outside his home at 1296 Lynwood St. in the Gingerwood Mobile Home Park. He welcomes visitors to see the scene, which he embellishes every year, that features papier-mâché and carved wood figurines from Italy. Angora said he does research to make the scene as authentic as possible and enjoys offering this gift to the community. He has a guest book and provides hot chocolate.
