The splash park in Veterans’ Memorial Park remains quiet earlier this week as it was closed for repairs. The surface had to be resealed, which will extend its lifetime by about five years. Work should be completed by Friday, and the park is scheduled to reopen Saturday, when temperatures are expected to approach 105.
