ART IN THE PARK: Boulder City Hospital Foundation presents its 53rd annual Art in the Park on Saturday and Sunday in Bicentennial Park, 999 Colorado St. The event showcases the work of fine art, fine craft and traditional craft artists. More than 350 artists are expected to participate. Admission to the benefit for Boulder City Hospital is free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The Las Vegas-based band takes its audience on a journey through generations of hits, showcasing golden hits from the 1950s to modern alternative rock, with a bit of country thrown in for good measure. CHOCOLATE AND WINE: The Western National Parks Association will present a Taza Mexican chocolate and wine tasting event Saturday at the Alan Bible Visitor Center, 10 Lakeshore Road, at Lake Mead National Recreation Area. It begins at 7 p.m. Participants must be 21 or older and have proof of age and identity. Cost is $35 per person and the event is limited to 25 people.
