PANCAKES TO SHARE: Boulder City Fire Department invites area residents to visit the firehouse, meet with firefighters and help honor the memory of fallen firefighters during its annual pancake breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 7-11 a.m. at the fire station, 1101 Elm St. There is no cost to attend.

COLORFUL CELEBRATION: St. Jude’s Ranch for Children will benefit from Saturday’s 5K color dash. Packet pickup begins at 9 a.m. and the dash starts at 10:30 a.m. at the ranch, 100 St. Jude’s St. The color explosion is planned for 11:45 a.m. Cost is $40 per person, with discounts available for families and groups. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE: Grace Community Church presents its 68th annual Country Store from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church, 1150 Wyoming St. A variety of goods will be sold, along with the church’s famous chilli and hot dogs and bakery featuring homemade treats and pie. Proceeds support church projects and local charities.

ZOMBIE INVASION: The living undead will invade downtown Boulder City starting at 7 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds from the Zombie Walk benefit Safe Nest. A $5 donation per person is being asked. The walk starts and ends at Boulder Dam Brewing Co., 453 Nevada Way.
