The Boulder City Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, kicked off its 2016 event with a Stew & Brew cookoff Saturday at Boulder Dam Brewing Co. Fourteen chilis, soups and stews were available for tasting, with Boulder City resident Robert Pavlowski creating the winning dish.
The 12-hour event is scheduled for April 29-30 at Boulder City High School.
