Carolyn Fowler, left, and Kathie Robinson sold baskets of May Day flowers and tickets for the garden tour at the corner of Nevada Way and Arizona Street on Saturday. Fowler taught floral design and was head of the department at the College of Southern Nevada for 15 years before retiring.
