Longtime Boulder City Chautauqua committee members Barbara and Paul Adams were on hand Friday to help organize a special reception for donors that gave them a chance to visit with the Chautauqua scholar who performed the following day.
“Great Showmen” was the theme for this year’s performances presented by Boulder City Chautauqua on Saturday at the historic Boulder Theatre.
Chautauqua scholar Doug Mishler, who teaches history at University of Nevada, Reno, was this year’s presenter, performing as Jack L. Warner and P.T. Barnum.
