Cothran earns degree,
named to dean’s list

Hailey Cothran of Boulder City received her bachelor’s of fine arts in professional photographic illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Imaging Arts and Sciences in Rochester, New York, during the institute’s 131st Academic Convocation in May.

Additionally, she was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester. To be eligible for the honor, Cothran had to have a grade point average of 3.40 or higher, not have any incompletes, D’s or F’s, and complete at least 12 credit hours.

Founded in 1829, the institute enrolls 18,600 students in more than 200 career-oriented and professional programs, putting it among the largest private universities in the U.S.
