Melyssa Ebbert recently received a $1,000 scholarship from Boulder City Masonic Lodge No. 37. Julian Shull, right, the lodge secretary, presented the award along with Bill Albin. The following evening, Ebbert and her family were guests at a lasagna dinner at the lodge. She is involved with the local Rainbow for Girls, Assembly No. 8, and with the Rainbow Grand Assembly as Grand Patriotism. Ebbert plans to study elementary education and hopes to attend Nevada State College in Henderson.
