Cold Cash

Steve Andrascik/Boulder City Review

Boulder City High School registrar and cheerleader coach Barbara Agostini reacts as she is drenched in a bucket of ice water during the school’s football game halftime activities Friday. Agostini was one of several staff members and teachers who participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to help raise money to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, aka Lou Gehrig’s disease. The event raised $420 and was donated in memory of Wendy Rockenfeller, who died from the disease in 2012 and was the mother of Justin Rockenfeller, a senior who is on the school’s varsity football team.
