The Eagles baseball team (23-9) defeated Spring Valley (17-13) 4-2 in the second round of the Division I-A Southern Region tournament.
They will face Faith Lutheran (26-6) at 4 p.m. today at Sierra Vista High School. Faith Lutheran advanced after defeating Sierra Vista 3-1 Wednesday.
In the softball championship, Faith Lutheran (28-8) defeated the Lady Eagles (24-9) 3-1 Wednesday afternoon. Now, the girls will face Sunrise Mountain (15-9) in an elimination game at 3 p.m. today at Sunrise Mountain.
On Wednesday, Sunrise Mountain defeated Chaparral 10-7.
On the links, Boulder City’s Luke Logan captured his fourth regional individual title with a 5-over-par 77 at Siena Golf Club, and finished the tournament at 1-over-par 145.
As a team, Boulder City placed second with 877 behind Faith Lutheran, which shot 780.
