Veterans and veteran advocates are invited to attend a veterans legislative summit sponsored by the governor’s office and Nevada Department of Veterans Services.
The summit will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. Thursday in the City Council chambers at Las Vegas City Hall, 495 S. Main St., Las Vegas.
During the summit, various veterans initiatives to be pursued during the coming legislative season will be unveiled. Additionally, the event serves to generate awareness for statewide efforts to benefit veterans.
