SafeWise, a community-focused security organization, has named Boulder City the safest city in Nevada.
The SafeWise Report released its “5 Safest Cities in Nevada” earlier this week, with Boulder City taking the top spot.
To compile the report, SafeWise looked at cities with populations of at least 1,500, using the most recent FBI crime data from 2012.
According to the data, Boulder City had 0.78 violent crimes per 1,000 residents, and 14.18 property crimes per 1,000 residents.
Rounding out the list were Carlin, Winnemucca, Mesquite and Henderson, respectively.
