The body of 16-year-old Shane McNeil was found Tuesday at 11 a.m., the National Park Service said Tuesday.

His body was found in Boy Scout Canyon in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

The cause of death was not known at press time.

McNeil was reported missing Saturday at 10 p.m. by his mother when he did not show up at a prearranged meeting point.
