Boulder City found itself against one of the better Class 4A teams on opening night, and it showed.

The Basic Wolves outmuscled the smaller Eagles 41-7 at Basic on Friday.

The Wolves used their size to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Basic quarterback Vince Carducci had a strong first half, hitting his receivers in stride for four touchdowns.
