The Boulder City Museum and Historical Association will be receiving $300,000 in Redevelopment Agency funds to help pay down its mortgage.

Final approval of the funding took place at the Redevelopment Agency’s April 12 meeting.

The combination of RDA funds and community donations will reduce the current mortgage debt of $718,000 to about $328,000, estimates association President Bret Runion. The association will be making mortgage payments of $3,135 per month, down more than 50 percent from $6,300.
