Weeks of preparation lead to moments of memories

The twinkling lights, the gleaming garland, the holiday music, the sparkling costumes, and the faint sound of pervasive jingling bells elicit oohs and aahs from those gathered on Boulder City streets to enjoy another Santa’s Electric Night Parade.

In what is seemingly the blink of an eye, what took a few months and countless hours to plan has become another warm memory of the Christmas season in Boulder City.

While the public sees another well-orchestrated parade this Saturday starting at 4:30 p.m., this annual event doesn’t simply happen. Here’s a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes.
