Paige Jessica Mercado, 49, passed away at her home in Boulder City on Feb. 7.

She was born Dec. 25, 1962, in Queens, N.Y., to Robert and Diana Wasson. Paige moved to Boulder City 11 years ago from Seminole, Fla. Paige had worked at a number of places, including the Hoover Dam and the Hacienda hotel-casino.

She enjoyed being with her friends and loved to spend time at the beach. She was a Christian and loved her family.

Paige is survived by her two children, Nicholas Drewelus of Largo, Fla., and Jessica Mercado of Boulder City; a grandson, Trace Drewelus of Boulder City; her father, Robert Wasson of Las Vegas; and a brother, Adam Wasson of Seminole, Fla. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Mercado, and her mother, Diana Sternburg.
