Judy Kaye Rowland, 67, of Boulder City, passed away on March 13, 2012.
She was born in St. George, Utah, on Oct. 17, 1944, to Henry and Ursula Oxborrow Ramsay. When Judy was 2 years old, the family moved to Boulder City.
She graduated from Boulder City High School in 1962. In 1964 she married Jim Bob Rowland, and during their 35 years of marriage raised two children.
Judy worked for the Clark County District Court as jury commissioner. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed the many callings she had working within the Primary.
Judy loved to travel and was able to tour the world, oftentimes with many of her closest friends. She loved and lived for her family, spoiling and enjoying her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Tracy James (Christine) Rowland of Green Valley, Nev., and Jill (Barry) Lagan of Boulder City; three grandchildren, Reilly, Alexis and Abbigail, and one grandchild on the way.
Funeral services took place Wednesday, March 21, at 10 a.m., at the 5th Street LDS Chapel in Boulder City. Burial followed the service at the Boulder City Cemetery.
