Edward James Nowacki

Edward James Nowacki, 87, died June 12, 2010. He was born Dec. 15, 1922 in Oshkosh, Wis.

Nowacki received his master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin in 1971. He retired from Manitowac County Social Services as supervisor of adult services in 1987. He moved to Boulder City in December 1987.

He was very active in his volunteering with the Senior Center and at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Grace, son, Stephen, daughter-in-law, Rebecca, granddaughter, Kimberly, grandson, Alexander and three nieces and nine nephews.

Services were held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church on June 29. Edward was a four-year U.S. Navy Veteran in World War II. His internment was at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
