Jan. 18, 1925 – Jan. 14, 2012

Dorothe Letitia Allen Fielding passed away in Boulder City with her family by her side on Jan. 14, 2012. She was born Jan. 18, 1925, in Dallas, Texas, to Isaac Allen and Minnie Lee Jones.

Dorothe married Jack Fielding in Dallas on April 5, 1946. She led a long and interesting life, living 16 years overseas while Jack served in the Air Force. She learned to speak Russian, German, Spanish and Japanese.

Dorothe was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jack; sister, Eliska; brother, Charles; and daughter-in-law, Cathy.

She is survived by four sons, Chuck (Bonnie), Kelly, Michael and Patrick (Lynn); grandchildren, Deanna, Vanessa, Dylan, Kimberly, Jimmy, Scott, Michelle, Zack and Koah; a number of great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Janet (Kent) and Joyce (Bill).

A service will be held for Jack and Dorothe at the Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City on March 26 at 11:20 a.m.
