Albert “Al” Edwin Hall, 94, passed away at The Homestead in Boulder City on February 22, 2012. .
Al was born in Ohio on Oct., 24, 1917, to Barkley and Ruth Hall. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. He married Ruth Crowder in 1935.
Al was a Seabee for the Navy in World War II. They moved to Boulder City about 20 years ago from Hermosa Beach, Calif. Al ran an upholstery business and did upholstery for Continental Airlines for ten years. He was a man who liked to buy and sell real estate. He was a jack-of-all-trades who enjoyed repairing houses.
Al was a very adventurous spirit who loved to travel the world. He loved doing the PR work with the delivery drivers for Edie’s Flowers, then owned by Ron and Phyllis Hall. Al would ride around with the delivery man and visit with all the people.
He is survived by three sons, Ronald (Phyllis) Hall, Steven (Donna) Hall, and Kenneth (Lynn) Hall. He has three grandchildren, David (Andi) Hall, Matthew ( Kristine) Hall and Ali Hall Clarey; and four great-grandchildren, Austin, Daniel, Nathan and Chance. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hall; two brothers, Fran and Willard; his sister, Buella; and nieces and nephews.
