On April 25 Officer Levi Gilliam took a report of a stolen iPhone from the Smoke Shop. A friend of an employee had set his phone on the counter, and another subject walked in and took the phone off the counter, placed it in his pocket and left the store. Fortunately, the theft was caught on the store’s video cameras. Officer Gilliam identified the culprit, contacted them and retrieved the iPhone. The victim declined prosecution.
