Special to the Boulder City Review

The paving contractor Wells Cargo has laid the new side walk and driveways on Nevada Way between Wyoming and 5th streets. Nevada Way and 5th Street are scheduled to be paved Thursday and Friday. Assuming paving goes well they will flip traffic on Sunday, May 20, and begin demolition on the north bound side of Nevada Way. Also we are aware of the amount of dust coming from the project. A non-compliance notice was submitted to the contractor to increase dust control on Nevada Way and 5th street.

Thank you all who attended the last progress meeting. We will be having another meeting Thursday, May 24, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the gymnasium at the L.A. Water and Power Building, located on the northwest corner of Nevada Way and Wyoming Street. Representatives from the city and contractors welcome you to come voice any questions or concerns you may have in regards to the project.

Please feel free to contact at 293-9205 or email me at pwadmin@bcnv.org.
