Last Saturday I attended the 2012 graduation ceremony for Southern Nevada’s Devil Pups. The ceremony was held at the Leatherneck Club of the Marine Corps League’s Greater Nevada Detachment No. 186 in Las Vegas, and guest speakers included Congresswoman Shelley Berkley and yours truly. Each of us, and many other supporters of the Devil Pups Program, personally sponsored a Devil Pup at a cost of $500 apiece. I’ve supported the Devil Pups Program for the past five years, and I’ve had the honor of speaking at the past five graduation ceremonies.
