Boulder City Review
The Clark County coroner’s office officially said the deaths and fire at 1313 Esther Drive on Monday was a murder-suicide.

Kathryn Michelle Walters, 46, and son Maximilian Walter, 5, both died from gunshot wounds to the head. Lt. Hans Pieter Walters, 52, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Hans Walters was a Las Vegas police lieutenant that worked in the patrol division of Enterprise Area Command.
Kathryn Walters is a former Las Vegas police officer who left the department in 2005.
Maximilian Walters, who went by the name Max, was a student in kindergarten at Andrew J. Mitchell Elementary School.
City Manager David Fraser said he went to the school this morning to offer Principal Benjamin Day whatever assistance it could.
“I told him I wasn’t sure what I was offering,” Fraser said. “I just wanted to let him know the city would do whatever it could to help.”
The Henderson Police Department is leading the investigation with cooperation from the Boulder City Police Department.
Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said it is a murder investigation that could take a few weeks.

I am so very sorry for the family of the victims. I hope the person, not the ‘man’, because ‘men’ protect their families, is being dealt with by the powers that be somewhere very hot.
