Distracted drivers may not be aware of their surroundings, but police will be aware of them this weekend and next weekend.

April 7-8 and April 14-15 from noon to 8 p.m., Boulder City Police Department will host a Joining Forces traffic enforcement event on Boulder City roadways.

Officers from not only Boulder City, but also from the Nevada Highway Patrol and the Las Vegas Metropolitan, North Las Vegas, Henderson and Mesquite police departments will be working together, citing distracted and speeding drivers.
