Scratch House opens

The Scratch House Restaurant has opened its doors.

The eatery at 1300 Arizona St. is serving lunch and dinner, with a grab and go bistro offering coffee and homemade pastries in the morning. Breakfast service will be added in the coming days, owner Charles Lawson said.

To stay true to its mission of tailoring its operation to meet the needs and wants of Boulder City residents, the restaurant’s staff is fine-tuning its menu and service, Lawson said.

He said they want to ensure the best possible experience for area residents, including adding places for people to secure their dogs while dining al fresco.

“You will always see us fine tuning our systems and procedures, starting now, in our never-ending quest to bring you the highest quality food, prepared by world-class chefs who possess true, Old World heart! Your continued feedback is food for our souls to help us bring to you the best of culinary experiences, both old and new!,” he wrote on their Facebook page.

Additional details about the restaurant, menu and service will be featured later this month in the Boulder City Review.
